These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Shaker landing site at shaker.sh (“the Site”) and the information presented about the Shaker mobile application. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Shaker

Shaker is a mobile application for iOS and Android that provides curated cocktail recipes, ingredient information, and a personal “My Bar” feature. The Site exists to present the application and direct visitors to official app stores.

2. Informational use only

All recipes, ingredient descriptions, and related content are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not medical, dietary, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you follow any recipe, including selection of ingredients, measurement, preparation, hygiene, and consumption.

3. Drink responsibly

Shaker contains content about alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly. Never drink and drive. Excessive consumption of alcohol is harmful to your health.

4. Age restriction

You confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (21+ in the United States, 18+ in the European Union, United Kingdom, and most other jurisdictions). If you are below that age, you must not use Shaker.

5. Intellectual property

All curated recipes, descriptions, images, branding, and other content on the Site and in the Shaker app are owned by Shaker or licensed to us. You may view this content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, resell, or scrape the content without our prior written permission.

The Site may link to third-party sites (such as Apple App Store and Google Play). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

7. No warranty

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shaker and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Site or reliance on its content.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a new “Effective date”. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of England and Wales, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
